Sending a File to Yourself

You are here:

Have you ever emailed yourself a file just so that you can work on it on another computer, or at another location?

With SENT, you can easily send files to yourself, so your file is secure, and not sitting on an email server.

To send a file to yourself, start by navigating to the Send page from the Dashboard or Menu bar.

On the Send page, choose ME as the recipient and click Continue.

Choose your file.

If desired, you may also add an Encrypted Note for yourself.

You will see it in your Inbox when you retrieve your file(s).

For the highest level of security, the default Expiration Date is set to 1 day.

You can change this by using the drop-down menu.

SENT will default to allow your recipient to download your SENT file(s) multiple times.

If you wish to, you can easily restrict it by unchecking the box.

Click View Details to see the stamp cost breakdown of your transaction.

If you need more stamps to cover your transaction, there will be a Buy Stamps button below the View details area.

Choose the amount you would like to buy.

Click  Purchase Stamps.

Now you are ready to send your files and you can see your stamp balance updated.

Once you are ready, click Approve and Send.

Your file will upload.

Congratulations, your file is now SENT and secure!

To retrieve your file, simply log in wherever you need the file and navigate to your Inbox.
